Sessions Out Whitaker in

Jeff Sessions, resigned from his position as Attorney General at the request of President Trump today.

Sessions has been mired in controversy since he recused himself from anything to do with Russia and Russian collusion.  Sessions appointing Rod Rosenstein to oversee the Russian investigation.  It was rumored, that Rosenstein was trying to invoke the 25th amendment and that people should wear a wire when talking to the president.

According to Fox News, it was John Kelly, Chief of Staff who called Jeff Sessions to let him know that President Trump was seeking his resignation.

Chuck Schumer (D) NY, is claiming that Robert Mueller needs to be protected, and that the Mueller investigation should continue.

Matthew G. Whitaker has been sworn in as Attorney General.

The immediate swearing in of Whitaker, leads to the belief that the firing of Sessions and hiring of Whitaker was pre-planned and organized.
